What year did they add the aux-in port on the Z4?

I was so happy to find the 08si I drove had an aux-in standard but the 06 M roadster I drove today did not have one. I had thought it would be there on any 06 and above car, but it must have been added later. The dealer told me it was added in ‘07 . Is this correct?
