Rebuild now dead
ok here is the short i rebuilt a 2.7seta bottom end, took to a shop had them rebuild my 2.5 head which had a bent valve in it and replaced with on from ie and put every thing together. car has had less then 4k miles put on it. the other day i drove it up in town to get some rear pads and i started to hear some nosie from the motor like a squilling, took it home and poped the hood and it was coming from under the valve cover. so poped the cover and had my wife bump it which i saw some "scaring on the cam on the 5intake side and that was also the one that was bent before, so lossed the vavle to the point that when it lobed that it wouldnt open much and took to shop.(didnt tell them i did that tho) and they want to charge me 260 to pull the head and take a look and saying that it is the piston that has a crack and they dont think it is any thing on the head they rebuilt, and it is still in time, and if it is on them then i dont have pay but if its not then its on me. so any idea of what it could be? i just think they messed up on the head and didnt check some thing when rebuilt it, and i asked them if all the vavles where right on the agustment and they said yes. so any help on this would be great its the only car i have to get me and my son around thanks
